Problem description

The example app github.com/cypress-io/todomvc is outdated.

1. It uses Legacy Configuration due to being based on Cypress 7.0.0
2. When it is run on GitHub the action logs show deprecation messages. See Deprecation warnings in test-app workflow log todomvc#11

Expectation

The app should run on a current (non-legacy) version of Cypress > Version 10, preferably Version 12.x.

Other information

• I submitted PR Update to cypress 11.2.0 todomvc#15 to update the app to Cypress 11.

• The tests however fail when attempting to upgrade to Cypress 12 (see issue Example test not compatible with Cypress 12 todomvc#14). I don't have a solution for this.

Edit: The above PR and issue are now stranded, since the repository https://github.com/cypress-io/todomvc is archived after discovering that it should not be referenced any more.

https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress-example-todomvc is the replacement up-to-date repository (which works under Cypress 12.7.0).

We clarified this with @nagash77 and the YouTube video https://youtu.be/zGrAhZkCoUE is referencing the wrong repository. It should be https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress-example-todomvc instead.
