Somewhere, it should explain that filters run server-side so it works even user is not currently logged in. And the email server must support this.

It seems odd that such a standard feature as Sieve isn't accessible through a simple checkbox in the admin panel. Instead, it requires manual configuration in the config file. While this method works, having it as a straightforward option in the UI would be more user-friendly.
