How to import portal items

1. Go to add items. The external items tab should already be selected.

2. Leave the existing solr url.

3. For the query, construct whatever query you need. Common queries:

• for a collection: collection_tesim:"My collection" AND status_ssi:Published
• for an exhibit set (substitute in the proper rex id): identifier_tesim:REX056* AND status_ssi:Published

4. Click add results. Your items will be imported.

This process is designed only for published image items at the moment. They use the jstor IIIF implementation.
