Team notifications with the power of RX

As promised on-stream. Here is an example of how you could do this with RX.
There are many operators and stuff available. For example if you have multiple things that need to be done when a teammate notification is made available. you can easily create multiple subscriptions that each do their own thing.

There are more then one way to creating an observable. I used a Subject here, because its the easiest to use in this scenario.
