This is still fairly basic, but has all it needs to preform CRUD on the server and create playback/record streams.
The async features here don't require a specific runtime: instead, there's a small polling loop around the pulse socket that can drive callbacks and futures. There are examples for integrating with tokio, which should similarly with other executors.
