I feel like Tank is so rare that where it is currently at is fine. Tank suffers from three major problems, People not knowing what they need to do, it's overall very weak in direct combat with more than one or two xenomorphs, and three it has no replacement parts. So if say for example (this happened to me) Your driver goes SSD for like 3 minutes due to unknown situation at their home and boiler hits you and defenders rush up and destroy your treads. Bam tank over your dead and useless now. |
all in all tank needs work and thats why its locked behind 200+ pop but I do not think currently tank needs to be nerfed as one it already has been nerfed into the ground. |
Fun fact, the DRG-N nerf for example comes from the fact that the previous buff i gave it was too strong. Generally, all the recent PRs it got where mainly buffs. Not nerfs. |
Okay but after watching in a couple rounds it looks fine to me. (note I play xeno and marine) Tank is easy to counter as xenos if you are smart |
To you maybe, but this change is the respons to feedback i got, tests i did and also some in round tests i had he luck of doing. DRG-N fire rate is too strong. Soo strong that it blocks out other gun picks. Also, Pr comments arent for balance talk. If you want to talk about it, ping me on the discord. |

Explain why it's good for the game
Tank needs a bit of tweaking.
DRG-N is basicly a flamer mashine gun currently, non of that. Its shot needs to be more planned, the fact that spamming with it works is bad.
Also, tank is a bit TOO tanky. Being able to soak a lot of dmg is important yes, but not to the point where you can ignore dmg.
Being able to just ignore boiler globs to an extent is a no.
Tank is resitant to slashes, so its not bad. Also, only boiler glob is really effected by this because its hit rec is weird and spitter dmg against it is still laughabel.
