Release Notes

Initial alpha release of the SMB volume service for cf-for-k8s. This an experimental pre-release that is not suited for production.

Known Issues

  • The smb-csi-plugin runs single threaded and can block on slow operations
  • The service broker is currently configured without TLS and passes secrets in the clear
  • The install process is preliminary and we expect to make breaking changes
  • Pods are installed to arbitrary namespaces that don't make a lot of sense
