This has been tested on Kibana 5.2.2, 5.3.3 (As indicated by @kaihil on #11).
The only thing is that I have removed the babel files, because I was getting errors from it. Maybe adding them to a gitignore file to not upload them to the releases would be the best option.
If you need help with this, I can contribute to debug anything on Kibana, even though I'm not proficient at Javascript.
