The suppression of these prevented users like myself from realizing GFFParser is using deprecated BioPython features which are subject to removal at any time. This project's setup.py allows newer versions of BioPython that remove deprecated features and thus introduce incompatibilities.
This was deprecated in Biopython 1.80 and removed in 1.82.¹ ¹ <https://github.com/biopython/biopython/blob/biopython-182/DEPRECATED.rst>

@wumuyao1996 if the error in #138 is blocking your progress, I added a workaround in the issue description. It should work unless you need any features only available in Biopython >=1.82. |
