For some reason, if I add things to the repo as sync'd by layman, it says that layman edited the github. This is nonsense. I have no idea why it does this, either.

Layman does not like using branches. If unstable is being used, just save yourself the issue and set PORTDIR_OVERLAY and manually sync.
