Stupid Chord Generator v1.0.0

Welcome to the first release of Stupid Chord Generator! This Windows application helps you generate chords from a single note in Bitwig Studio, Ableton Live, Reason Studio, and NI Maschine 2.

What's Included

This release contains:

  • Stupid Chord Generator.exe (64-bit Windows executable)
  • LICENSE file
  • Settings.ini (initial settings file)

Installation

  1. Download the zip file
  2. Extract the contents to a writable folder of your choice
  3. Run "Stupid Chord Generator.exe"

The application will create additional folders and files on first run.

Quick Start

  1. Enable Caps Lock to activate chord shortcuts
  2. Select a note in your DAW's piano roll
  3. Press one of the chord shortcuts (F1-F12 by default) or use the on-screen display (OSD) to transform the note into a chord

Press ` or \ to open the OSD with chord shortcut buttons.
