• This release contains a breaking protocol change, meaning Cabal Desktop version 8 will only work with other instances of itself, and with Cabal CLI version 15.
• This release does not have code signing & app notarization on Mac OS. This may affect some users ability to run the app out-of-the-box. Users affected may be able to circumvent Apple's anti-social measures by running the following command in the Terminal app: sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /path/to/cabal.app
