Welcome to the Network-Off-Battery-Saver wiki!

This Android app turns off wifi and mobile data when the screen is off. They turn back on when the screen is on, and also whenever the phone is plugged in.

This can save large amounts of battery.

The app can be installed and run in two ways:

As a regular Android app (installable .apk) - just download and install
Run under Tasker as a Tasker Project.

Users have achieved 1% battery use per hour or less, during screen off periods.
