  • Build for arm64, use btrfs for the rootfs, base on bookworm
  • Produce two images: minimal (for microsd) and normal (for ssd)
  • Preinstall some software:
    • tailscale
    • bestool
    • cockpit
    • various basic tooling
  • Enable network-manager and avahi in the minimal image
  • Default user is iti with password iti
  • Enable I2C, SPI, UART, NVME, RTC charging, and boot options
  • Minimal image turns the display solid green when I2C UPS device can be reached
  • Remove unused dev tooling, headers, and packages from images
  • Minimal image has passwordless sudo
