I don't have a bcgovpubcode.yml; how do I get started?

• Navigate to UI
• Click on "New"
• Complete the form. Use the field descriptions for additional information or references
• Once complete, click on "Submit"
• You can either click on "Download" or "Copy" for your product-specific bcgovpubcode.yml file!
• Finally, add it to the root of your repo with the same name and it will be read during the next cycle! (Currently nightly)

How do I update my bcgovpubcode.yml?

• Navigate to UI
• Click on "Edit"
• Enter the link for the bcgovpubcode.yml you wish to edit (example)
• Click on "Submit"
• Complete the form. Use the field descriptions for additional information or references
• Once complete, click on "Submit"
• You can either click on "Download" or "Copy" for your product-specific bcgovpubcode.yml file!
• Finally, replace your current bcgovpubcode.yml with the updated file and it will be read and updated during the next cycle! (Currently nightly)

How do I access the bcgov public-code data?

• The API endpoint is accessible here
• Consumers are able to use an application of their choice to present the data (eg. PowerBI)

I have a bcgovpubcode.yml; how do I know if it worked?

• Wait for a refresh cycle to update the data (Currently nightly)
• An easy way to tell is to navigate to the API endpoint and Ctl+F for your Product! here
