This is a maintenance release of the blackboxwm package. This package contains a maintained fork of the original blackbox CVS that is on Sourceforge. It includes all of the official blackbox CVS repository, as well as patches collected from pdl-linux, Debian, the blackbox bug list, other GitHub forks. It also includes greatly enhanced EWMH/ICCCM compliance. See COMPLIANCE in the release for additional information on enhanced compliance.

This release is a maintenance release whose purpose is to update the build system for gcc 10.2 and autoconf 2.71. There are no outstanding issues at the time of release.

This release is a maintenance release whose sole purpose is to update the build system, generate a better NEWS file, handle annotated tags better, and converts the release archives to lzip compression.

This release is a maintenance release and fixes some issues with full screen behaviour for non-maximized windows. It also includes some build and release enhancements.

Maintenance release 0.73

This release was made some time ago but did not contain the tarball. It includes a few minor fixes and some build improvements, but does not include the full screen fix. A point release will be coming shortly to address that. See NEWS and ChangeLog in the release for more information.

Maintenance release of blackboxwm

This release is configured against GNU gettext version 0.19.7. The distribution process has been greatly simplified. Aside from that, there are no changes from the previous release and there are no oustanding issues. The release tarball is now a .xz file instead of a .bz2 file. This is a bug-fix release of the active Blackbox fork. This release fixes several minor (but annoying) bugs. This fork release is now very stable.

This is the first stable release of this fork of the blackbox window manager. See the README, NEWS and ChangeLog in the release for what this release contains above and beyond the last release of blackbox (in antiquity). Note that this release has almost complete native language support. You can help by updating the po files for languages of which you have a mastery.
