Ubercart Restrict Quantity lets you add a very basic quantity restriction to a product in your Ubercart store. One use-case is to allow for single purchase products or for other instances where users may purchase only up to a maximum quantity of the product.
Due to the way products are added to the cart, customers can add multiple variations of the same product to their carts (i.e. different attribute/option combinations) but never more than one of any given variation.
- Version 1.x-1.X.X is a direct port of the Drupal 7 version, with some bug fixes
- Version 1.x-2.X.X contains the following new features:
- Restrict quantity based on the Node ID of the product. Version 1 of the module counted the quantities of each variation of a product in the cart separately. With version 2 of the module, it's possible to limit the total quantity of a product, even when there are multiple variants of that product in the cart.
- Individually limit the quantity of variation of a single product with different SKUs. Version 1 is buggy: although you may enter different restrictions for different SKUs of a single product, only the first restriction was applied. With Version 2, you can specify limits for each SKU of each variation of a product.
- Install this module using the official Backdrop CMS instructions.
- As an administrator, browse to the product page.
- Click on the product's
Edit
tab and then itsFeatures
secondary task tab. - Choose
Restrict Quantity
from the select box and clickAdd
. - Fill in the details of the restriction (quantity limit, lifetime option).
- Test it out by adding the product to your cart! (Note: If you already had a copy of that product in your shopping cart, you should empty your cart and add it again. Due to the way the module works, it won't restrict quantities on products already in customers' shopping carts.
