Águila - since its very first proof-of-concept version - has to be basically rewritten from scratch, taking into the changes brought by the upcoming improvement of Arturo's Webview- and UI-related functionality (arturo-lang/arturo#413).

A few rough goals, for starters:

  • Make Aguila able to work seamlessly on all 3 major platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS)
  • Provide all the layout functionality to the Arturo backend
  • Integrate with Vue.js (preferrably, v3) for interaction and automation
  • Make communication between the frontend and backend ultra-easy
  • Apps have to be totally portable and self-contained
