Tracer v1.0.0

Tracer has been developed by the Solar Thermal Group (STG) at the Australian National University (ANU) for modelling concentrating solar power (CSP) systems after it was originally created by Yosef Meller at Tel Aviv University in Israel. This is the first released version, including features:

• Sunshape models: pillbox, Gaussian, Buie
• Slope error distributions: pillbox, normal
• Tracking algorithms: azimuth-elevation, pitch-roll
• Tower scene class
• Parallel processing capability

This version was verified by comparing with five other optical modelling tools, namely Tonatiuh, Solstice, Heliosim, SolTrace and SolarPILOT. Tracer showed good agreement. Details can be read via the link to the preprint.
