Last sprint we:
- added information to the Get started page so it’s clearer to teams using the GOV.UK Design System that discussions in GitHub might represent individuals’ views and aren’t necessarily “official”
- updated the tag component to support use of multiple tags in different colours (thanks to @adamsilver for contributing this)
- released GOV.UK Frontend v3.6.0 - including class changes to support different coloured tags and making it possible to hide elements when users print a page
In this next sprint, we’re planning to:
- publish a new pattern on helping users to recover from validation errors
- update the guidance on handling errors in date inputs
- publish new guidance on when and how to open links in a new window
- publish documentation on how to migrate to GOV.UK Frontend from old frameworks
- update documentation on installing and getting started with GOV.UK Frontend
- update the task list pattern so it’s clearer which tasks haven’t been completed yet
- make the back link component and the approach to breadcrumbs on GOV.UK more consistent
The latest edition of the GDS podcast features Tim talking about the GOV.UK Design System.
Have a read of Hanna’s blog post explaining why we changed our recommendation on how to ask users for numbers.
