iDARTS allows users to take a Variant Call Format (VCF) file containing variants of interests and make predictions on either pre-compiled (annotated) or user-provided AS events, based on iDARTS DNN trained on GTEx data and reference RBP expression levels across 53 GTEx tissues. The software output includes the predicted splicing levels (PSI values) of the reference and variants alleles, as well as the predicted variant effects on splicing (ΔPSI) in GTEx tissue types. iDARTS can also make predictions based on user-provided RBP expression levels for specific sample types of interest. When a VCF file is not provided, iDARTS reports predicted splicing levels (PSI values) for AS events of interest.
iDARTS is a robust and flexible computational framework for quantitative prediction of alternative splicing (AS) profiles. It can take several types of inputs.
