Hey @donovan-parks, DRAM v2 just got made public as a public beta. We would love for you to give it a try, you can find it on the dev branch of this repo (https://github.com/WrightonLabCSU/DRAM/tree/dev). As far as the tool itself, DRAM v2 currently is largely the same with some improvements around the visualization, and a couple other places. But the current big differences are that DRAM v2 has Nextflow integration to better manage pipeline scheduling/parallelization (really nice for HPC deployments). As well as containerization options to better manage dependencies so DRAM is easier to install. Also all databases (except KEGG) are now preformatted to alleviate that headache.
Hi,
Can you clarify the state of DRAM2? Would you recommend new users stick with DRAM v1 or is v2 mature enough for general use?
Thanks,
Donovan
