Is this project dead by any chance? If so is there a fork of this project or something?

So at present the people previously involved have moved onto other work. The main issue with restarting things is the brittleness of the software stack. Currently the steps needed to generate a "program" to run in the simulation are too cumbersome. Before it is feasible to resume development, the project really needs to migrate to using say the gpuopen toolchain to generate programs that can be used in the simulation.

One question, do you know any other open source graphics card for a regular desktop/tower?
