Enhancements:

  • Upgraded packages; this includes bumping Athena to v1.1.0 and, consequently, jQuery and Tether to latest versions. js-cookie has also been upgraded.
  • Made updates to the gulpfile and other files to support necessary package upgrades.
  • To test the above updates, proper cache-busting of non-third-party assets using the current theme version has (finally) been added.
  • Added a CONTRIBUTING doc and Github issue/PR templates.

Enhancements:

  • Added compatibility for newer versions of Degree Search and Post List SC plugins' script dependency management, while maintaining existing dependency logic for sites that may still use older versions of these plugins.

NOTE: If you use this theme with the UCF Degree Search or UCF Post List Shortcode plugins, you should upgrade to this version of the theme before upgrading UCF Degree Search to v0.7.7+ or UCF Post List Shortcode to v2.0.7+.

Bug fixes:

  • Updated get_nav_markup() to display a h1 in the site header on is_front_page() instead of is_home(). Thanks @schrauger for #49!
  • Added missing link to the homepage around the h1 on the homepage.
