Hi, Welcome to my GitHub! 👋

  • 👩‍💻 I'm Xinrui (Sylvie). I currently live in Seattle. I am in the second year of my CS master's program at Northeastern University, USA.
  • I’m a Google Summer of Code 2024 contributor for the Apache Software Foundation org, developing clustering monitoring feature for BanyanDB, an observability database designed to store metrics data produced by Apache Skywalking.
  • I'm an ex-product manager, where I designed product requirements and oversaw the entire process of software projects. This experience sharpened my focus on user experience, which now influences how I approach coding with a user-first mindset.
  • ⚡ I enjoy coding, cooking, traveling and cats.
  • 🌱 I am a fast learner and quick adapter. I am always learning new things.
