The web pages are hosted in Azure, with the SSL certificates managed by a plugin to renew the certificate via LetsEncrypt.
I've refreshed the certs, so we are good for another 3 months. It is supposed to be automatic, but if it happens again:
log into the azure portal
goto https://ssn-{site}-prod.scm.azurewebsites.net/letsencrypt/Home/ replacing {site} with either web, charter, or admin
in the bottom right, hit next
in the next screen, hit next again
select all the hostnames (shift + click) in the box:
hit request and install certificate
