Uploading a world save
Note: While the game save doesn't contain person info, it does contain the entire chat log. If you are uncomfortable uploading your save to github, you will need to upload it somewhere private and ask the developer for an email to send the link to.
-
You will need an account with a cloud storage provider, to upload your save. Some providers that provide free accounts are: OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox
-
Locate the server folder
For a server run through steam UI:
Right click on "Eco" and select "Properties". Go to the "Local files" tab, and click "Browse local files..."
-
Open the Storage folder
-
Copy Game.eco (in singleplayer: "yourServerName".eco) to your cloud provider. You do not need to upload Game.db unless you were asked to include it.
-
Paste the link in the github issue, or email the link.
