###   README for acp_commander   ###
###                              ###
####################################

ACP_Commander can be used to remotely control your arm9-based LS Pro/LS Live/Tera Pro v2/Tera Live.
It connects to a stock process so it even works with the stock firmware + in EM Mode.

You only need acp_commander.jar
there is no GUI at the moment, just commandline.

=============================================
======= The most important uses =======
=============================================
1) spawning telnet + clearing the root password (Option "-o" )

2) clearing /boot when you encounter an ACP_State_Failure while trying to reflash
via the firmware updater because /boot is full. the old hddrootfs-files will be
deleted there. (Option "-cb" )

3) installing wget, joe, su via addons.tar (Option "-addons")
3a) if addons.tar is in the same folder it will install it
3b) if not then it will download the addons.tar from the downloadsection

=============================================
=======        Prerequisites         ========
=============================================
1) make sure you have a java-runtime installed

2) have your buffalo-arm9-NASbox fully booted. regardless if EM mode or normal mode.

3) Change to the Commandline
Win32: Start/Execute/"cmd" or Start/Ausf?hren/"cmd"

4) Change to the folder where you downloaded the acp_commander-jar-file.
you will get this error message if you are in the wrong folder:
"Unable to access jarfile acp_commander.jar"

=============================================
=======           Examples            =======
=============================================
buffalo-arm9-NASbox-IP: 192.168.1.11 (replace it with the IP of your box)

-) most common one (starting telnet + clear root password + install addons-package)
java -jar acp_commander.jar -t 192.168.1.11 -o -addons

-) we want to spawn telnet + clear root password:
java -jar acp_commander.jar -t 192.168.1.11 -o

-) spawn telnet/clear root PW + clear /boot (ACP_State_Failure)
java -jar acp_commander.jar -t 192.168.1.11 -o -cb

-) install addons.jar (either have it locally in the same folder or it will be downloaded)
java -jar acp_commander.jar -t 192.168.1.11 -addons

=============================================
======= Normal output without options =======
=============================================
#java -jar acp_commander.jar

*) this is not the MAC address the packet is sent to, but the address within
    the ACP packet. The linkstation will only react to ACP packets if they
    carry the correct (its) MAC-address or FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF

This program is the result of the work done at nas-central.org (linkstationwiki.net), which is
not related with Buffalo(R) in any way.

Experimental software, use with care, it might brick your Linkstation!
