A couple of things...

Have the following conditions met before installing GambitDriver.

  • If you have not already, finish setting up your device inside your car.
  • Have an adequate power supply if powering outside your car. (12V at 2A is recommended)
  • Stable WiFi connection.

Install GambitDriver

  1. Connect to a stable WiFi network. (At the moment, captive portals will not work will GambitDriver)
  2. Select "Custom Software" to continue.
  3. To install the GambitDriver fork, enter smiskol.com/fork/Springer-Electronics/prerelease and click "Install Software". (Note: For beta testers, this link is used for GambitDriver prereleases and will change in the future for the first release)
  4. Your device start installing GambitDriver software. Depending on the quality of your connection, you may need to retry the process a few times.
  5. Once installation is complete, make sure to carefully review the training guide.
  6. If you did the installation outside your car, put it back inside.
  7. Drive your car around for a few minutes at 15 mph (~25km/h). This is so that your device can calibrate properly for when you start using it.
  8. Once calibration is complete, you may enable cruise control like normal and GambitDriver will make a sound indicating that it is taking control.
