Introduction

This project is a discriptive and predictive analysis with aims to analyze sales and financial data to derive insights into market segments, country/regional performance, product contribution, profitability, and more. The analysis is conducted using Dash, a Python framework for building analytical web applications, and Plotly, a graphing library for creating interactive visualizations.

Data

The dataset used in this project contains sales and financial data, including information such as market segment, country/region, product details, sales figures, manufacturing prices, discounts, and profits. The dataset is loaded from a CSV file and cleaned to ensure consistency and accuracy in the analysis.

  1. Product Analysis Page

    • This page focuses on analyzing product-related metrics such as sales contribution, discount efficiency, profitability, and correlation between various financial variables.
    • Components:
      • Dropdown for selecting countries/regions.
      • Checklist for filtering data by year.
      • Product Contribution Chart: Bar chart showing the contribution of each product to sales.
      • Discount Band Impact Chart: Pie chart displaying the discount efficiency by product.
      • Profitability Chart: Funnel chart illustrating sales growth by product.
      • Waterfall Product Details: Waterfall chart representing profit and loss by product.
      • Heatmap Correlation: Heatmap showing correlation between financial variables.
  2. Sales Analysis Page

    • This page focuses on analyzing sales trends, monthly sales growth rates, and conversion rates by customer segment.
    • Components:
      • Dropdown for selecting countries/regions.
      • Checklist for filtering data by year.
      • Business Gauge: Indicator displaying average profit margin.
      • Yearly Sales Trends Chart: Pie chart illustrating sales trends by year.
      • Monthly Sales Growth Rate Chart: Line chart showing monthly sales growth rates.
      • bar Conversion Rates: Bar chart representing conversion rates by customer segment.
      • Variable relationship: Heatmap displaying correlation matrix with hover data.
