2. Netmonitor

This App has basically two main function which are found in the "navigation drawer":

Start (main function) History Tutorial The third function is not a new function by itself, it only recalls the tutorial.

Start: Once you open this function, you are able to start the NetMonitor by clicking on the ActionFloat-Button on the right bottom. Once you pressed this button, all connection to the Internet are monitored. You have have to refresh this side, by swiping the whole side done (common refresh function). Then a list of all Apps will appear, all of them have connection to the Internet in the moment of the start of the monitoring. You are able to click on one of the apps, and a list unfolds and shows you a Detailedlist of the the connection. There are some settings for an option, which are found in the navigation drawer as well. If you select the detailed mode, it is possible to enter one connection by clicking in the in the DetailedList. There you can see a lot of information about this connection, for example the "User-ID", "App-Version" and so on. You can stop the monitor process by a second click on the float Button (white qua drat) in the bottom right.

History: This function will show the history of the past connections for the selected apps. All the connections for the selected apps are stored in a Data Base. The data base can be cleaned by pushing the button on the top left "delete Database". You can select the apps for the history by clicking in the bottom right float button. A list with all installed apps are presented. By pushing the swipe button to the right the app is selected for monitoring the history. It is possible to sort the app list by various critaria (alphabetic and installed date). As well it is possible to search for an appName by using the magnifying glass. By pressing the bin all apps will be unselected. You can return by pressing the arrow back in the top left. Back to the first history page.

Now you can unfold the list, like it was possible in the monitoring function as well. But you can also do a long click on one of the apps, which directs you to the charts.

The chart simply present you all the connection for the last "day" / "week" / "month". On the bottom you see the connections in a list. You are able to click at one of the connections and the already known detail view is presented. It is possible to click at one of the bars in the chart, and the connection list at the bottom is filtered according to the selection.

You can return by clicking at the top left arrow, to return from the chart view.

More functions in the navigation drawer:

There are the mentioned settings. In the settiings there is one point where you can choose if the encryption status is colored or not. The standard is set to true, so the encryption status is colored red, green or grey for unkown.

In the help function, we implemented a few questions that may help the user to understand some of the functions.
