I'm glad to announce that this release brings significant improvements to your experience.

Starward Logo (Pending)

After more than three months, I finally created a simple logo (which is not unusable). During this period, many people shared their design proposals, and I have summarized all of these suggestions in # 242. Thank you for your contributions. If there is a better design in the future, this logo will be replaced.

System Tray

With the logo, the system tray feature can be implemented. Firstly, you need to enable System Tray Icon in setting page.

Afterwards, you will find a new icon in the bottom right corner of the desktop (due to system restrictions, this icon will be hidden in the arrow on the left when first enabled), and right-click to see the option to quickly start the game. When the tray exists, Starward will run in singleton mode, and running a new process will be redirected to an existing process. The orange logo above is the icon of the downloader process, distinguished from the main process by different colors.

Gacha Records

The gacha records page has been improved as follows:

  • Add items' image
  • Add a intuitive pity progress bar to rarity 5 items
  • Show obtained records for rarity 4 items
  • Add statistics on the number of obtaining count for each item
  • Support convert the language of existing records

Play Time

The new version has redesigned the process of launching a game, and now Honkai Impact 3rd and Custom Startup Executable both support recording play time. However, there are still some limitations: the main window of Honkai Impact 3rd should appear within 20s after startup, otherwise the play time will not be recorded; game process should starts within 10s after Custom Startup Executable startup.

Tips

There are some hidden features in Starward that are hard to find during normal use, such as converting game clients, so I've added a document named Tips.
