How to Create Your Custom Template

Four Steps to add a custom template to Summit Events:

  1. Go to Setup >Visualforce Pages, and open the "GeneralSLDS" Visualforce page. Copy the content from this page.

  2. Create a new Visualforce page and give it the name you want users to see. Copy the content from the GeneralSLDS" visualforce page from step 1 into this new page. This provides the field mappings needed for Summit Events

  3. Add your organization webpage format and styling to the new Visualforce page you created in Step #2.

  4. Go to Object Manager and select Summit Events. Select "Fields" from the left menu and then select the "Templates" field. Add the name of the new Visualforce page as a picklist value to this field. This allows your users to select and use the new template you created.
