mwm-ml-gen (Morris Water Maze - Machine Learning - Generalized) which is now known as RODA is the generalised version of mwm-ml (github link, bitbucket link) which is used for rodent trajectory data analysis.
mwm-ml was first created by Tiago V. Gehring as a custom set of software tools capable of reproducing the analysis procedure and findings of the publication of Gehring et al..
Following this publication, mwm-ml-gen was created as a more 'generic' software that can accept a variety of user data and experimental setups. This software is capable of performing the analysis procedures of mwm-ml and contains almost all the functionalities of mwm-ml as well as an improved classification procedure (see Vouros et al.).
- Accepts exported custom CSV or XLXS or TXT files from Noldus Ethovision software and custom experimental setups.
- Has an improved and easy to use graphical user interface for trajectory analysis, labelling and classification.
- Much faster in data processing and analysis.
This wiki is focused only on RODA. Each major version (excluding version 1) has its own section.
Latest software version: 4.0.3
Latest wiki version: 4.0
MATLAB R2016a was used for version 4
