ResourcesHQ Project Setup Guide

Welcome to ResourcesHQ! This guide will walk you through the steps required to set up and run the project locally on your machine.

Prerequisites

• Visual Studio installed on your machine.
• SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or another preferred database software.
• Basic understanding of C# programming and database management.

Getting Started

• Clone the Repository: Start by cloning or downloading the project from the GitHub repository: ResourcesHQ.
• Open in Visual Studio: Launch Visual Studio and open the project by navigating to the cloned directory.

Setup Database:

• Open SSMS or your preferred database software.
• Execute the ResourceHQ.sql script provided in the project to create the required database tables and insert some sample data.

Update Connection String:

• In Visual Studio, navigate to the Program.cs file.
• Locate the connection string and update it with the details of your local database.

Run the Project:

• With the database set up and the connection string updated, you're ready to run the project.
• Hit the "Run" button in Visual Studio to launch the application.
