Changes

  • removed hatch-vcs
  • added script to write version into _version.py and pyproject.toml from package.json
  • added build-python-package script which runs all generate, test, and build tasks at once
  • removed makefile on top-level
  • added badges to readme
  • documented python package creation in CONTRIBUTING.md
