This is the first next-gen release of RAMP arising from the multi-institution development process involving TU Delft, RLI and VITO (https://rampdemand.org/development/).

The key novelties are reported in the CHANGELOG file. They include new documentation, a refactored and more efficient code, options for .xlsx input files and the possibility to install the software via pip.

Such version of the code has been developed for use in the study "Francesco Lombardi, Sylvain Quoilin, Emanuela Colombo, Modelling distributed Power-to-Heat technologies as a flexibility option for smart heat-electricity integration, ECOS 2020".
