Unfortunately, it looks like there is a duplication of effort between this PR and #1346. It is not clear which one should be merged or whether they can (or should) both be merged. |

also remove a few links of resources that weren't migrated because they were outdated and/or didn't provide any meaningful information
note: all the mentions of the windows doc are left as is - ie. they still point to qubes-community, and will have to be updated once the windows PR moves forward
