You will need:
-
The GoOS ISO (version of your choice)
-
{optional} 512mb+ Fat32 disk image (must be preformatted to fat32 the OS can't read it otherwise
Add a new Virtual Machine
Select "Typical" and click Next
Select "Installer disk image (ISO)" and select the GoOS iso you installed. Then click next.
Choose the Other OS option and on the dropdown also select Other (Other x64 wont change anything). then click next.
Choose a name and location to put GoOS's VM down. then click Next.
Do not bother with HDD sizing or anything. this can't be used by GoOS. just click Next.
Ensure everything is correct then click Next
Lets now remove that generated disk VMWare made us create! Click Edit Virtual Machine Settings
Click the HDD and then click Remove.
You can now start your VM and GoOS should load with no issues!
