Introduction

Welcome to the OpenSHAPA Guide. It is broken into two sections, the User Guide and the Contributor Guide. The User Guide contains information about how to use OpenSHAPA in day-to-day use, how to create scripts that can print and modify your data, and how to create plugins for new data sources. See the OpenSHAPA website for more general information about the OpenSHAPA Project. While the Contributor Guide contains information on how to become involved in the development of OpenSHAPA. With details on how to contribute documentation, as well as fixes and improvements.

OpenSHAPA is software for marking up video or other data in an extremely flexible way. It comes with a plugin for coding video data using VLC, which is a powerful video playing software. In order to use this plugin, VLC must be installed on your system.
