Welcome to OpenIxia, the open source community for Ixia test solution users. Here, you’ll find links to a variety of materials including videos, documentation, and our OpenIxia script repository—all designed to help you become Ixia automation experts.

To accelerate your automation activities, we’ve published the expansive GitHub repository of automation examples that Ixia test experts have built over the years. It includes all our sample scripts and API libraries for the Ixia test products, organized by product, API, and programming language. As an open source repository, this content is available to use under the MIT open source licensing agreement.

Do you have scripts or ideas to share?

Because OpenIxia is open-sourced and community-based, we encourage you to share your ideas as well. Contributions are published once they have completed our quality review, which ensures the reliable content on the site. The materials here are not part of any Ixia product and, therefore, are not covered by Ixia Support. If you have feedback, find something wrong, or just have questions, you may submit these inquiries through our OpenIxia GitHub Issues and someone in the community will respond. We encourage you to join the community and respond yourself if you know the answer to someone’s question.
