Hello, and thanks for the patch. I'm afraid I cannot accept this as-is, because it just replaces wiimote-pad's feature with the IR.

This should be either a separate program (say, wiimote-lightgun), or a behavior of wiimote-pad triggered by a command-line option, leaving the default behavior intact. Can you rework the patch in this sense?
