ReleaseMgr v0.01.15 Beta

This plugin version supports DWC versions 3.4.

The plugin can currently display RRF, DSF (SBC), DWC, and Team Gloomy release details.

Please read the Wiki for general usage guidance.

Note: The plugin requires an internet connection to operate.

Release Notes:

As this is a relatively new plugin I am anticipating bugs, especially in the hardware highlighting feature. I have a limited test setup, so implementations with multiple control boards may highlight new issues not discovered in closed testing.

I am working with the Duet team to improve the matching dataset used by the plugin, so while we work out the kinks, hardware matching may not be at an acceptable accuracy level. Please highlight any matching errors on the forum, so we can update the matching database, and amend release notes accordingly.

For the first few releases the matching database will be held on GitHub, and will be updated independently of plugin releases. The plugin will look for updated data on first launch, or when the refresh button is clicked.

Changes:

  • Added an auto check for firmware updates feature, which checks GitHub for an updated firmware version when DWC loads, and pushes an alert to the user. The feature can be enabled in plugin settings. Users can also choose to stop duplicate alerts for the same update if desired.
  • Team Gloomy users can now access the RRF files panel if they choose to dismiss the warning.
