MetCouncil ABM Update Kickoff July 27, 2021

RSG updates

• 100% ABM run is working

  • 100% sample on 22 processors with chunk size (??) took 3 hours
  • MetCouncil model was taking ~10 hours
  • Andrew has committed setup to git
  • Readme needs some updates
  • Andrew will also commit scripts to process inputs into the right formats and convert matrices

• Processed survey and model output; loaded into visualizer

• Still some issues, but we're close to an initital working ActivitySim setup

• Survey processing & visualization:

  • Get OBS re-scaled data from Dave -- Ben will check on subcontract
  • Check on survey pop vs. synthetic pop
  • Correct TOD issues, purpose/person type issues, joint tour generation

Next steps (survey/vizualizing)

• Leah work on cleaning up survey and activitysim data
• Leah will commit code and documentation to repo

Future phases:

• Ben will update/refine work plan document
• Need updated setup from MetCouncil -- new skims etc.
• About a month from now -- can start on phase 2
• Discuss after survey/model output cleanup
