Course on medical and biological imaging
- Shape matching and statistical analysis using either pixel intensity-based metrics or points of interest (i.e., landmarks).
- Introduction to the concept of graphs and their use for matching and segmentation.
- Brief overview of structural medical imaging, both in terms of acquisition techniques and image processing applications. Use of segmentation methods seen in previous courses on different types of medical images (dermoscopic, X-ray, NMRI).
