Apple released their official patch for OS X 10.7 and newer. Please visit our blog post for links and details

This will update Bash to 3.2.53 to patch for CVE-2014-6271 and CVE-2014-7169. These bugs have been called 'Shellshock'. Our version also includes the patch to disable auto-import functions. This patch saves the old version as /bin/bash.old /bin/bash.sh and makes them non-executable.

We've tested this patch internally with:

• OS X 10.6.8

Will not install on any other version

No warranties are given in use of this installer. Always test before running in production.

Update: Uninstall script has been added
Uninstaller can also be ran by pasting this in a terminal and hitting enter:
