  • Added a new 'notebooks' sub-directory containing Jupyter Notebook (.ipynb) files for each lesson.

  • This update allows users to work within Jupyter notebooks while referencing the markdown files for the same lessons.

  • Updated data files are also included in this PR.

Let me know if there are any areas where I can assist further or if any additional improvements are needed for the project. Thanks!

Please let me know if there are any additional notebooks that would be useful to create for the tutorials. Looking forward to contributing in more depth to the project.

Hi @dr2633! Thanks for submitting these - sorry I didn't have a chance to take a closer look before you closed the PR. I love the idea of having a set of parallel notebooks with the lesson, but I wonder if there's a workflow or publishing solution that could help us keep them up to date as people submit PRs to the lesson content. It might be difficult to manually edit the notebooks to match the lesson page edits over time. I know there's a group looking into adding Quarto to the workbench to improve Python compatibility, which might point us in the right direction.

Also let me know if you'd like to chat sometime about the Python lesson moving forward and I can set up a zoom! We'd love to have more contributions/maintainers in the long run.
