Motivation

Rabb.it was a service that allowed users to effortlessly interact with the web, in sync, across great distances.
It is speculated by many, however, that due to the legal grey area of the service Rabb.it had a difficult time raising funds and getting investors.

Turt.us seeks to be an open source, fully featured recreation of Rabb.it that anyone can host on their own servers and pay for with their own money--or even add their own subscription service if they choose.
