SuperSlicer is the preferred slicer so we should have some steps of how to add printer profile
bundles?
Crank up the first layer flow rate (as high as 200%, in 10% increments; if you hear clicking while the first layer prints, it is likely set too high, and the issue lies elsewhere). Should I set it to 200% in the beginning? Why isn't this default?
It feels like all "pre-flight checks" are for when you get bad prints and need to debug.

Check the branch Testing-Preset , it should have some of these improvements already. The reason for not having 200% by default is it can cause other issues, elephant foot among others. However, if you're having layer adhesion issues it is likely on the opposite side of the spectrum.
