Submission
Submission follows broadly the same principles as in the European COVID-19 Forecast Hub and the German COVID-19 Hospitalization Nowcast Hub. Where appropriate we link to the relevant materials, instances where the systems differ are explained in different articles of this wiki.
-
We have decided to accept submissions on Thursday afternoons and Fridays. Due to this scheme, we only accept submissions where the
forecast_date
is a Thursday (see article Submission Format. -
Submissions need to be made via GitHub pull request. These can be made using the web interface or the command line.
-
For your initial submission you will need to
- Create a directory for your team in relevant subfolders of the submissions folder. For technical reasons we structured things in a way where separate submission files per target are submitted.
- Add a metadata file.
- Add a license file.
-
From then onward, you will just need to place appropriately named csv files into the respective folders and make a pull request.
-
Forecasts themselves are submitted as csv files in a standardized format. This differs slightly from the one used in the different Forecast Hubs and is detailed here.
-
Upon submission, automated checks will run to make sure your files correspond to the technical requirements. If problems occur, hopefully informative error messages will be posted below your pull request.
